Summary: Casa Tavera is probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. The service was incredible, the room was so comfortable and clean, and the entire hotel was just beautiful. We arrived after their check-in, but they arranged for us to be able to access our room after hours. After a full day of travel, we were a bit fried and required help with the entry keypad, and one of the owners was on site to kindly walk us through it--setting the tone for the high level of service they provide. Every morning, our stay began with a tray of fresh coffee and cookies brought to our room before exploring the city. The hotel is very close to Paseo de Montejo, countless restaurants and bars, and so many shops; and the staff was kind enough to make recommendations throughout our stay. I will absolutely be checking for a room here for my next stay in Mérida, and recommending it to any friends who take my advice to visit this beautiful city!
