Summary: We just had a wonderful week stay in Yvan's lovely house!We enjoyed the rustic charm and an authentic french feel to the house- some houses are so over renovated it feels like a new build house inside, but Yvan's house still had that wonderful old world feel we look for, whilst having the modern luxuries of a wonderful Pool, and the ensuite bathroom, which had a GREAT shower... so good all the kids used our ensuite to enjoy the shower!Note- the listing says it has a hot tub and a pool, but I think that might be a translation error as there is no hot tub. We weren't expecting one, and it didn't matter to us, as its not something we generally look for when booking but just a note to others if it matters to you.It was glorious to wake up to the bird song every morning- it was such a peaceful and calm environment. I loved throwing open the shutters each morning to greet the day!The kids loved seeing the donkey and the goats in the adjoining field!The home was well situated to travel to all the sights we wanted to see.We all loved Yvan too!He was such a warm and friendly gentleman and so helpful with accomodating us at the last minute. We couldn't ask for a better host!He also took us on a tour of the caves in the cliff under the property- caves that were once a home for Trogylidites with their caverns and tunnels- just amazing!We had such a wonderful week staying there and I would highly recommend both the house and its location and also the wonderful hosts to others
